Self Acceptance Is Key To Happiness


I truly love the above visual image and message about a character named Tim, because Tim is not one bit worried about being accepted by others. Tim accepts himself and is determined to stand out instead of fitting in. He is not needing to feel externally validated, because Tim has empowered himself with that feeling of being more than enough. Tim goes about his day doing as he pleases and so as long as those actions don't harm another human being, Tim is alright in his going-aboutness on a daily basis.

Tim wakes up each morning knowing just who he is and what he's about, and he's feeling great and at ease about it all. He knows his value thus his worth. He is not waiting for someone's opinion to be confident in that knowing. He takes full responsiblity for creating his own happiness and refuses to let the judgments of others deter him. Tim loves and believes in himself regardless if no one else does. And, that's powerful and unshakeable when you stick with it.

So, are you like Tim or are you like those who go through life placing their state of happiness into whether or not others like or accept them? Remember, self-acceptance is far greater than anyone's opinions about you. Thus, do not allow others' opinions to have any clout or negative influence over you.
